Donation/sponsorship - St. Charles Club is having their Extreme Bowling Event to raise money for a diabetic dog. The Board discussed donating $150, which would be the cost of a team. The general members can decide if anyone would want to be a team for their Extreme Bowling event, or just go ahead and send the donation.

Awards: Since we did not have an active year due to COVID, the Board discussed re-submitting the awards from last year to International.

Inaugural and “new” board members were discussed with the slate entered as follows:
President-Tim Echternach, VP of Membership-Sara Echternach, Secretary-Kay Brejcha, Sargent at Arms- Elaine McCoy, Parliamentarian-Brett Benton, 2 year- Dayton Shepard & Aaron Zaner, 1 year- Brian McNeil & Todd Shelmadine.

We are still looking for a Treasurer and a President-Elect. Dayton Shepherd, in attendance, suggested Clarence Jett, and that we ask him personally. Since the meeting, Dayton learned that Clarence is in the hospital fighting cancer of the esophagus. Please keep him in your prayers.

International Delegates are: CeCe Benton, Brenda Hanson, Elaine McCoy, and Tim Echternach (who will attend the delegate meeting via zoom).

Speakers for our general meeting. Note cards were handed out during the last general meeting and members were asked to write down speaker ideas (preferably with contact information for the speaker) and bring to the July 1st meeting.  One person has given some suggestions.

Bingo is doing well. If you can help in concessions on a Wednesday night, we would appreciate it. The menu is more limited than before and that makes it a bit easier.  I (Tim) stopped by this past Wednesday night near 8 p.m. and the place was full, and concessions was already closed. Remember, this is a decent, consistent fundraiser for our club.

Dinner for the Inaugural July 1st general meeting will be catered from HyVee.
The selection will be:
Entrees’- Lasagna or Roast Beef (your choice at the dinner)
Vegetable – Corn
Mashed potatoes & gravy
Garden Salad
Rolls with butter
Cherry Crisp for dessert.
Iced tea and water bottles will be provided.

The cost is $13.00 per person

Members will pay Kay Brejcha with cash or check written out to the club. NO CREDIT CARDS.

Dinner is at 6:30 with the meeting starting at 7 p.m.
