Welcome to the Show-Me Cosmo Club of Columbia, MO. Although most people know us as the Show-Me Cosmos, our formal name is The Columbia Show-Me Cosmopolitan Club

We are one of the clubs in Cosmopolitan International which has clubs in three countries currently and about to go into the fourth. Our international headquarters are located in Overland Park, KS. The U.S. organization is divided into seven regions referred to as Federations and each Cosmopolitan club, with limited exceptions, belongs to one of these seven federations. The Federation that we belong to is known as MO-KAN because it is comprised of the two states. Locally, we are one of three clubs, Columbia Luncheon Cosmo and Columbia Breakfast Cosmo Club, in Columbia, MO.

We are a service club dedicated to enriching our community through Unity, Service and Action. We engage in funraising activities throughout the year and donate funds to Columbia-area not-for-profit organizations. Check contributions for a list of the organizations we have supported and for information on applying for funding.

Founded in 1987, our club caters to working people by holding a dinner meeting on the first Thursday of each month at a local restaurant. This format allows both single and married people to participate in an international organization without taking time from an already busy workday. Our club was usd as the model for most clubs formed after 1987.

We meet at a different restaurant each month. Social time starts at 6:30 pm, dinner is served at 7:00 pm followed by a business meeting and a program presented by a speaker. We conclude by 9:00 pm. So that we can have an accurate head count, please contact our president if you like to attend a meeting.

Members can pay dues, monthly, semi-annual, or annual. We pay our treasurer for our meals at that meeting and he then pays for the evening's meal. We invite you to learn more about us and to check our calendar for this months location.
